Cross-Border Privacy Rules (CBPR) & Privacy Rules for Processors (PRP)

Iterable’s CBPR & PRP certifications encompass the information collected from individuals for customer relationship management and Iterable.com in the role as a controller (CBPR) and the personal data processed on behalf of customers through the customer engagement platform in the role as a processor (PRP) by Iterable, Inc. in the United States and United Kingdom (for both CBPR and PRP functions) and the European Union, Asia Pacific region, Latin America region, Australia, and New Zealand (for CBPR functions only).

Schellman is an Accountability Agent for the APEC CBPR and APEC PRP Systems and has been an active member of the system since 2018. Schellman is accredited to perform certification activities for the CBPR as well as the PRP System.

Schellman monitors ongoing compliance with the minimum requirements via quarterly check-ins, annual recertifications, and any complaints received via the Compliance Inquiry/Complaints Form.

Companies that display Schellman’s APEC seal(s) are solely responsible for their own privacy practices and promptly notifying Schellman of any changes that may affect their CBPR/PRP certification.
