REGISTER NOW

Thursday, July 17th, 2025 @ 1:00 PM ET  |  60 Minutes  |  1 CPE

About this Event

Please join us for an interactive panel discussion with Danny from Schellman and Amber from AWS which breaks down the interrelationship between the world’s first international standard for promoting trustworthy AI in ISO 42001 with two very well-established ISO standards in information security (ISO 27001) and privacy (ISO 27701).  Danny and Amber will go in-depth on how the standards can be integrated, including where the main similarities and deltas reside, to assist organizations who are looking to implement an AI management system (AIMS) and/or integrate their AIMS with an existing information security or privacy information management system (ISMS/PIMS).  Danny will bring the perspective of a certification body (Schellman) who has performed several ISO 42001 audits since being accredited in 2024, and Amber will bring the perspective of an AWS consultant advising enterprise organizations on AI governance and best practices at a global scale across diverse industries.

Topics may include:

  • Why is ISO 42001 Impactful for Your Organization? (IE: legal & contract requirements and market advantage)
  • Who Should Be Involved: Internal Roles and Responsibilities
  • How Do the Requirements Overlap with ISO 27001 and 27701
  • And More
