About this Event

Cloud computing is the backbone of the digital age and the vital infrastructure anchoring the performance of every other sector in our economy. It provides significant benefits to both public and private sectors, as well as to the customers in terms of cost, flexibility, efficiency, security, and scalability.

Notwithstanding its undisputed advantages Cloud Service Providers and Cloud Service Customers are confronted with concerns related to cloud services’ GDPR compliance, as there has been a lack of reliable frameworks to evaluate data protection compliance of cloud services. As Cloud Service Provider you may now fill the gap and underpin your Compliance with GDPR as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR, by adhering to the EU Cloud CoC. The European Data Protection Code of Conduct for Cloud Service Providers (EU Cloud CoC) is the first framework for any kind of cloud service offerings that is officially approved by European Data Protection Authorities by which Cloud Service Providers can efficiently and with legal effect under prove GDPR underpin and validate their compliance efforts.

Besides introducing the EU Cloud CoC, this webinar will cover, among others, how to utilize the benefits of the modern GDPR tool, i.e., Codes of Conduct. You will also explore the compliance process and independent validation options alongside how to utilize your already existing conformity assessments.

This event will be recorded, so if you cannot join live still sign-up and we will send you the replay of the event.

For those who are able to attend live, we will conclude with time for open Q&A.
